I love this restaurant. One of the few treats I look forward to when visiting Atlantic Canada. The coleslaw is the best.

Best chicken in town. Fries are great and chicken is consistently great. Best coleslaw ever. Bucket comes with 12pc chicken, fries, and 4 dinner rolls all buttered. If fish is your thing then you’re in luck too. The pieces are a bit on the smaller side but the batter is on par and it tastes pretty good. The place is clean and has a nostalgic vibe to it, very welcoming.

It's like stepping back to a better time. Life has changed... prices are higher... but it's the same chicken you remember. And it'll take more than a tank of gas for you to drive to equal or better coleslaw :)

The store is SOOOOO clean!! I didn't think I've seen such a clean looking restaurant. Dinning room is clean, not dusty, tables freshly wiped. Looking into the kitchen from the counter the kitchen looks spotless as well; I couldnt find dust and I tried!! Lol. The food was ABSOLUTE AMAZING and I got the fish which was perfectly cooked, just crispy enough, and full if fish not air! I cannot express how much I recommend this location. I would travel the 2.5 hours again in a heart beat to come here.

First time we have visited. Fish and Chip dinner was delicious. Portions were large. Coleslaw and tartar sauce made it perfect for us. We thank you for the extra piece of fish. Was a nice surprise.

Unless you have had Dixie Lee Fried Chicken at least once during your trip home...you haven't completed your vacation. Consistently great. Crispy, savoury chicken and always nice service staff. Fast fresh and hot each time. Excellent for large Family meals !

I think this is my second review, maybe third for this wonderful establishment. I came in, ordered, sat down and not even four minutes later I had Travis personally serve my food to me. That’s what I call service! He’s great, and personable. Good at what he does. The food? Fresh and delicious as usual! Love it here. Makes my day every time. Thank you!
